16 Days of Action: Day 3: Adapting under the Covid-19 restrictions
Jennifer Murphy of Cuanlee Refuge highlights how the team has adapted the service under the Covid-19 restrictions. Ensuring the needs of women and children experiencing domestic abuse were met during this difficult time. Jennifer has been meticulous in collecting the data to accurately quantify the impact of Covid-19.
Caithríona O’ Neill, Domestic Violence Social Worker, discusses the support she provides to women and children through the Outreach and Aftercare Service.
The Outreach Service is available to all women who have experienced domestic abuse. Caithríona supports the clients through a range of methods, such as; face-to-face meetings, video appointments, phone, text or email.
